To dream a dream that’s never been

re-read the lines written on page—

the subtle ones inspired like a sage

helping one to turn the page.

So many—many signs

in the great big headlines

as tears of sorrow

fill up fields of yarrow,

as clothes like slipcovers

hide the stains—

for re-discover in the morrow.
