[133] Walk The Earth

In the departure, I return

down narrow passages

of white washed walls

expanded views

of green and growth

and salty sands

meeting white-capped

wetlands.

I walk the earth foot by foot

and feel its essence in every nook

and return, not I, to where I began

yet return, I do, full of new.

I walk the earth

foot by foot

and wonder how

the bird does too.
