[149] The Wonder

Too much time

not enough

in the distance

comes the train

chug, chug

it's making time

I wonder who

fills its charm.

Back and forth

the mystique of night

slides into view

and distant lights

scatter the sky

I close my eyes,

the deep blue settles

I breathe the breath

and turn a smile

with the wonder

of nothing

filling me whole.
