[31] I Dreamed, Again

Today I saw the greenest green

Tucked in the earth, beneath a tree

Pushing softly towards the sky,

trying hard to grasp up high.

Gently, the blades slightly waved,

back and forth, back and forth

in the middle of a day.

There they were, just lying—

in the crevice of the bark,

carrying a million thoughts,

and the endless dreams of

those who pass it by.

I was there.

I saw. I thought.

I dreamed,

Again.
