[39] Give Its Name

I should like to write a poem
which carries the beauty of the sea,
the growing warmth of a rising sun,
the endless giving of a land—carefree,
and eternal strength for a long run.
And then I should like to give its name
the rhythm of your tender heart—
and forever tireless, fighting flame.
